FEB Meeting

Feb meeting was held at the same time and place as usual.  Very good turn out and some good business was accomplished!  Thank you all who were able to make it.

DEC Meeting

07 DEC, 1300 @ American Legion in Astoria.

From the Chapter President:

Hello All,

  Our meetings are normally the second Thursday of every month but Dec will be on the 7th at 1300, American Legion.  PLEASE mark your calendars.

 What a year 2017 has been for the CPOA, here are a few fun facts:

* We started 2017 with $1200 in the bank, this year we are starting 2018 with $5000.

* Our goal for 2017 was $7000, we raised $14,505.82.

* 2016 we gave away the FIRST CPOA Scholarship for $1000, 2017 we DOUBLED it to $2000.

* Attendance when I took over as president started with about 4 or 5 Coasties, and has slowly built to the highest ever with 21 Coasties last meeting.

* Our accomplishments:

                Coastie Emergencies: $1550

                Community Support: $7318

                Support for CG: $1781

                Fun:  $875

 We are so excited for what 2018 brings!  We hope you consider joining this year.  It can get over whelming as we grow and your support is definitely needed!

 Our DECEMBER meeting is to make a 2018 spend plan, so if you have ideas, please come prepared!  We are also going to go over fund raising ideas.
